Phamatech & Barnes Wholesale Announce Distribution
Agreement for the At Home™ Drug Test
San Diego CA, December 2000
Phamatech Inc., a San Diego based multi-national
biotech company, announced today that the At Home Drug Test will
be distributed by Barnes Wholesale Company nationwide. Bergen
Brunswig serves more than 2,000 independent drug stores in the
U.S Phamatech revolutionized the drug testing industry in 1998
when it received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration
to market the first home drug test, the At Home( Drug Test.
Albertsons, Eckerd, Rite Aid and other fine
drug stores now carry the test.
"Phamatech has worked hard to put together a complete program,
accepted by professionals in the drug test and counseling industries
" says Tuan Pham, President and CEO of Phamatech. "We
have a very accurate screening test combined with a SAMHSA certified
toxicology lab to give fast, accurate results. There are only
71 labs to hold this level of certification in the entire United
States. We have also developed a database listing more than 2800
certified substance abuse counselors who have signed on participate
in this program, allowing us to refer customers to qualified help.
Of course, this is a completely confidential service."
Phamatech, a long time manufacturer of a
variety of in vitro diagnostic tests, including pregnancy, ovulation,
drugs of abuse, chlamydia and hepatitis, currently distributes
its products to over 65 countries around the world. Phamatech
is currently the only company in the US to have gained FDA clearance
for over the counter drug tests.
