San Diego Company Strengthens Partnerships
with Drug Prevention Leaders
Phamatech Incorporated, in support of its
efforts to end drug abuse, donates to non-profits and public
service agencies aimed at a drug-free America.
The San Diego based biotech company, Phamatech Incorporated, has extended its
commitment and collaboration with the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America
(CADCA) for three years to help eliminate drug abuse.
Phamatech is the developer, manufacturer and producer of
the best selling rapid diagnostic At-home Drug Test. Phamatech,
Inc. is continuing its work with, and support of, CADCA,
the national non-profit membership organization that represents
coalitions working to make America's communities and this
partnership is tackling the problems head-on through, prevention,
education, identification and early intervention.
Phamatech's At-Home Drug Test, the first over the counter
FDA cleared test is a urine-based test that can be used in
the privacy of the home. It can accurately test for marijuana,
cocaine, ecstasy, amphetamine, methamphetamine and opiates
(including codeine, morphine and heroin), as well as other
drug analogs such as hydromorphone and hydrocodone, Phamatech's
At-home Drug Test is sold in most major pharmacies throughout
the country, including CVS pharmacy, Walgreens's, rite Aid,
Albertson's, Eckerd's and Long's. The At-Home
Drug Tests cost between $15.00 and $30.00 making it accessible
and affordable.
Each test comes with a free confirmation component that
is performed in a lab, which can verify positive readings
with 98% accuracy, eliminating potential false positives.
The results are given toll-free over the phone by counselors
who maintain strict confidentially and provide information
and counseling referrals for treatment.
Phamatech is currently working with Five Star Productions,
one of America's largest independent television production
companies on their Emmy winning series "Parenting and Beyond"
to illustrate how parents can initiate a conversation with
their children about drugs. This program will air in the
fall nationwide.
