San Diego, CA – Phamatech begins retail sales of the AtHome® Steroid Test.
Phamatech is proud to announce the nations first over-the-counter test for commonly abused anabolic steroids. Available at Walgreens pharmacies nationwide, the AtHome® Steroid Test provides laboratory based analysis of 11 commonly abused steroids. Steroids can be purchased ‘on the street’ from unknown and unreliable sources and are abused in an attempt to ‘bulk-up’ and increase muscle mass. Side effects can include aggressive behavior, heart disease, high blood pressure or stroke, kidney failure, liver tumors and cancer. Steroid analysis is performed by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) in Phamatech’s SAMHSA certified, California Clinical and CLIA licensed laboratory. Results are accurate and confidential. San Diego, CA – Phamatech is selected by Placer County California Board of Supervisors to provide drug testing services to Placer County Health and Human Services and Probation and Parole Departments.
Phamatech has been awarded a multiyear contract by Placer County to provide urine and oral fluid drug collection and testing services. Praising Phamatech’s “professionalism, efficiency, and excellent customer service”, this contract includes several Placer County departments with diverse needs, including collection services, laboratory based urine drug testing and oral fluids testing. An oral fluid test is easily and conveniently collected without the need to dedicate bathroom collection facilities, and is complimentary to urine based testing. Phamatech is proud to be selected and recognized by the Placer County Board of Supervisors.

San Diego, CA – Phamatech Laboratories selected by the State of Oregon Department of Corrections to provide urine testing surveillance.
Phamatech has been selected to provide urine drug testing services to the State of Oregon Department of Corrections throughout Oregon. In addition to monitoring inmate populations for common drugs of abuse and alcohol, the ODOC will be one of the first correctional systems in the country to monitor the abuse of anabolic steroids. Anabolic steroids can exacerbate aggressive behavior. Providing a drug free correctional system is essential in reducing recidivism and providing a safe environment for inmates and correctional officers. Phamatech is please to provide these services to the Oregon Department of Corrections.

Phamatech Laboratories and Diagnostics is pleased to expand our laboratory toxicology services into the clinical area with state licensure and federal certification. Clinical testing, defined as testing for the diagnosis, assessment or treatment of disease, is distinguished from chain of custody forensic testing providing legal defensibility.
